Original Project Scope

Even before the devastating earthquake hit Haiti in January, EMAS Canada and the El-shaddai Baptist Church had a vision for a new church, a school, and a community health centre for the community of Bon Repos on the northeastern edge of Port-au-Prince. Now that the current church and school building lie as a pile of rubble, there is even more urgency to proceed with the construction of the new facility. In addition to furthering the spread of the Gospel in this poverty-stricken community, many aspects of the community health centre development project will meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the most needy members of the community. El-Shaddai community would also like to explore environmentally sustainable options as part of the design.

The preparation of master planning, design and construction documents is a critical next step for EMAS and El-shaddai Baptist Church. We will be assembling a small but experienced team for this project. Will you join the team to give back to this community their church and school, as well as a community health centre?
