Faculté de Théologie Évangélique de Boma
(Boma Evangelical Graduate School of Theology)
eMiC Project 10002

June 20th - July 1st, 2008

Original Project Scope
FACTEB was launched in 1976 as a joint venture between the Christian and Missionary Alliance in the USA and Canada, on the one hand, and the Evangelical Community of the Alliance in Congo, in the other. FACTEB is a school of theology whose purpose is to train Church leaders in the evangelical tradition at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Since its beginning, FACTEB has seen over 90% of its graduates going on to serve in full time Christian ministry as pastors, evangelists, teachers, community leaders and theologians throughout Africa and around the world.

The facilities at FACTEB are in great need of redevelopment as the physical conditions have aged over the last 32 years. Dormitory buildings for the students are badly needed as well as a new overall master plan. This master plan will help guide the redevelopment of the campus as most buildings on the campus will eventually need to be reconstructed. The EMI team will help to create the new master plan and design the first building or two of highest priority.

Come join this EMI team as we partner with FACTEB to envision the future and design the first buildings for this campus where generations of Christian leaders will be trained. Visit the FACTEB website for more information.
