Mission of Hope - Medical Clinic & School

Mission of Hope, located on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines, is serving the Mangyan people through evangelism, medical services and drilling wells.

Errol and Laarni Pitre, along with Christ Centered Fellowship church in Manila have a vision to construct a clinic and a school in Cabacao which is near five of the Mangyan tribes.

Engineering Ministries International sent a team of design professionals to the Philippines in October 2007 to help develop the vision.

The design that was completed included a clinic with several exam rooms, an operating room, a laboratory, and accommodations for visiting doctors. The school would be for 100 children. It would include kitchen and laundry facilities as well. Dormitory accommodations for teachers and visiting teams would be provided. The site for the buildings is located adjacent to an existing church called the Christ Centered Fellowship. It is quite flat and surrounded by rice fields with good access from the main road.
