Candidate Prerequisites

Prior to applying for a staff position, candidates must meet the following minimum prerequisites:

1. Trust in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, live a vibrant Christian life, and agree with eMi’s belief statement.
2. Be an eMi trip-volunteer on one or more eMi trips during the last two years.
3. Have a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience in your discipline. Professional license in your discipline is preferred. (If applying for an administrative/ support position, experience requirements vary).
4. Have the willingness and ability to raise financial support to fund 100% of your salary, insurance, and ministry costs. Unless otherwise noted, all staff positions are support-based. Note: project trip expenses are paid by eMi.
