Engineering Ministries International Canada (eMiC) is a non-profit Christian development organization made up of architects, engineers and design professionals who donate their skills to help children and families around the world step out of poverty and into a world of hope.
Each year, more than 2.2 million people in developing countries die from diseases associated with lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene (UN Water Policy Brief, 2005).
eMiC exists to transform lives by providing hope to the poorest of the poor.
Our Services
eMiC is a Christian ministry that designs facilities that serve the poor in developing countries. These facilities, including orphanages, clean water projects, medical centres, and more, directly impact communities by meeting physical needs and communicating God’s love in a practical way. We partner with overseas missions and indigenous ministries who have a vision to help the poor and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Volunteers
To produce our designs, eMiC blends our team of in-house project managers with volunteer engineers, architects, land surveyors and construction managers recruited from Canada and around the world. These volunteers donate their time and travel costs to join the teams, adding their expertise and insight to give client partners the best designs possible.
